11:00 AM - So You Want To Be An Idol
West Coast Idol Union presents So you Want to be an Idol? an interactive panel that brings the audience into the scenario of an idol group. Participants will come up with a name and a pose for themselves and learn the chorus to a popular jpop/vocaloid/anime song with the help of the coordinator and then perform it for the remaining audience. While doing so they'll learn about local kaigai idol culture and what it takes to be a self produced overseas idol/ idol group in the modern day.

12:30 PM - J Fashion in Harajuku
Solo panel talking about J-Fashion in the Harajuku district of Japan. This panel will go over what is J-fashion and what are the subcultures such as Lolita, decora, gyaru and much more.

2:00 PM - Sewing Perfect Ruffles

3:30 PM - Open Mic Performance Showcase
This will be an interactive panel with heavy audience participation. We would like to host an open mic for anyone who wishes to perform, but has not had the opportunity to. Entrants can either perform a song or dance with a 5 minute maximum, and can sign up at the panel.
